Featuring Luke Cage & Iron fist

This week our spotlight shines brightly on the Heroes For Hire, Luke Cage & Iron Fist! And how do I choose to celebrate such a Riggs and Murtaugh like duo? With our very first Top 6, that’s how. I present to you:

The Luke Cage & Iron Fist: Top 6 Tips for Freelance Superhero Success!

We cover some legitimate tips for freelancers and tailor them to people with super abilities who are looking to venture out on their own and make some money saving lives. With my special guest, Aaron Brewer, we tackle what it’s like to be a successful freelancer and how Super Heroes (and villains) can use their special gifts to be their own boss. Yes this is ridiculous, but it is also useful and you will enjoy it because I said so. I mean, what hero would charge someone for a save…

"I need a hero I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night..."

“I need a hero I’m holding out for a hero ’til the end of the night…”

BONUS!! More freelance tips for meta humans!

Create an eye-catching logo

If you are going to be out there making moves and tossing criminals in the air, you are going to need a defining mark. Just like any business needs a solid logo, you will need a compelling symbol of hope. Batman has that rodent on his chest, Superman would lead you to believe his S means hope, and Spider-Man went a little overboard with the size of that arachnid on his torso BUT they all have one thing in common, when you see them, you know who is there to save you.

Learn to say no:

You can’t save everyone, and that laundry is pilling up. Maybe skip that hostage situation?

Reward loyal customers

Set up a perks system for those people who just can’t seem to stay safe. I am talking about the Jimmy Olsen’s and Barbara Gordon’s of the world. At one point Superman gifted Jimmy with a watch that, when activated, can summon Superman from wherever he was. That is one hefty gift.

Batman got Barbara a broken back. Not as flashy a gift, I would say.

Treat every client as if they are the only one

Don’t go running off to save someone mid-rescue. Finish throwing a beating at the first dope. Then go help clear out the burning building with the kittens and orphans.

“Not the orphans!” – Black Dynamite
